Ekaterina Samitina is an artist from Samara, a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia, Ambassador of Peace from the International Federation for Universal Peace (UPF), international art curator.

Author of the art project “Weightlessness”, in which more than 100 artists from Russia took part, and the exhibitions were placed in China and Turkey at the best exhibition venues.
Ekaterina Samitina paints in different genres and techniques. One of many people’s favorite series of paintings, which participates in art exhibitions around the world. These paintings visited such famous fairs as SIAF (Shanghai), RedDot (Miami), ArtExpo (New York).
The brightness of color, carelessness of strokes, and the irony of the plot are combined in each miniature Positive collection. The main idea of the author is self-irony, exaggeratedly presenting to the public the hobbies and skills of any girl, not limiting herself to form. No, this is not body positivity, this is an emphasis on whatever form, vision or mood you are in – dare, act, try and fulfill your dream. There is no clearly defined appearance in any of the paintings, the faces are hidden behind shiny glasses. The artist’s great love for the sun protection accessory transferred to the canvas. From the small size of large modules, it is interesting to combine bright canvases, as if playing tag. In this series, the artist most attracts the viewer’s attention to the color, shape, and texture of the wide strokes of the palette knife. The collection is replenished with seasonal hobbies, new poses and names. Each baby has her own unique name, perhaps she will become your friend, smiling widely with the wall.
Painting is the state of the artist’s soul, it doesn’t matter what language you speak, what religion you support, what country you are from. The language of emotions and feelings captures the attention of the audience.
