Dubai, 25 October 2025 – In the vibrant heart of Dubai, a crossroads of cultures, innovation and creativity, the World Fashion Festival Awards returns for its 7th edition, one of the most prestigious international platforms dedicated to fashion, art, design, and cultural diplomacy. Founded by Her Excellence Royal Ms Ioana Gratiela Elbada De Cantacuzino and Ana Maria Simion, this iconic event stands out for its integrated vision of art and fashion, fostering dialogue between cultures and generations through the universal power of artistic expression. 

For the Art & Design Section 2025, the Festival has appointed international curator Sveva Manfredi Zavaglia as Artistic Director. She presents a remarkable exhibition — both digital and physical — that unites artists from across the globe, from North to South, in a shared creative conversation. This edition’s Art & Design section features a major collective exhibition that brings together international artists From Europa, Africa, South America, Asia, exploring new languages, materials and contemporary visual narratives.

A Bridge between Art, Culture and Diplomacy

The festival takes place under the distinguished patronage of diplomatic figures and members of the Royal Family of the United Arab Emirates, within the Almas Centre. It offers artists an extraordinary opportunity for exchange and dialogue with Ambassadors, Consuls, Government Entities, Cultural Institutions, International Collectors, Influencers, Lifestyle Media, CEOs, Entrepreneurs and Global Investors. This edition strengthens the collaboration with the Diplomat Business Club, an exclusive network hosting events in iconic locations such as the UK Parliament, the Burj Khalifa, and the Emirates Towers — ensuring high-profile exposure and an unprecedented international network.

The World Fashion & Art Festival Awards represents not only an artistic event but also a bridge of cultural cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the world. Through forums, exhibitions and high-level meetings, the festival promotes bilateral collaborations in the fields of Contemporary Art, Cultural Tourism, Art Investments, Creative Economy, Innovation, Sustainability and Digital Transition.

During the show, the designers enrolled to compete in two distinct categories Best Collection (free choice) and Best Dress (theme: GREAT GATSBY / optional), while the Models competed for the Best International Model, Best Young Model and the make-up artists and hair stylists for the Best Make-up Artist and Best Hair Stylist.
