Can you tell us about yourself?
My name is Mohamed Tarek, I’m 25 years old, I was born in Cairo. I was taking photos for fun and one day I took a photo session with a big photographer in my city and from that day all photographers wanted to take photos for me. My dream was to get only 10k on Instagram and now I have more than 300k .
What is your greatest strength as a professional model?
I like to wear clothes that match the background. And I always choose white locations for my photos. I see that this style is better for me because I love wearing black most of the time.
What is your greatest weakness and how have you tried to overcome it?
At first I was worried while standing in front of the camera and people looked at me in the street, but with the continuation I became used to it.
Why are you pursuing a career as a model and influencer?
Because the thing that makes me happy, and got me new friends.
What limitations do you have on photo shoots or fashion shows?
There’s no limitations in fashion.
What inspires you as a model?
I like simple clothes in fashion, the many colors don’t catch my eye.
What are your aspirations for your modeling career?
I’m looking forward to working with top brands.
How do you handle rejection as a model?
It hasn’t happened to me before so I don’t know what’s the answer to this question.
Who is your favorite fashion designer?
Donatella Versace for sure.
What is your advice to all aspiring models?
Do not listen to anyone telling you this is a waste of time, make friends in the field of fashion, and you will reach your dream one day.
